Packable

It goes without saying that you have a finite amount of space in your suitcase, even less if you’re aiming for carry-on only (you brave soul!). With that in mind, you want a travel sweater that takes up as little space as possible. 

Versatile

You don’t want to bring several sweaters, you want to bring one – maybe two – on your trip. That means whatever you choose needs to be versatile. It should be something you can wear on a plane and a hike. Plan your travel clothing in outfits, not individual pieces. Most importantly, take into consideration what you’re going to be doing on your trip.
