Treat Yourself for Under $25

Bath bomb with ring

Jewelry bath bombs are one of my favourite frivolous purchases. No one needs a bath bomb with a ring in it, but why wouldn’t you get yourself one? If you’re planning a relaxing at-home spa night, a Fragrant Jewels Bath Bomb will add a little scent and a surprise to your night, and you can do it for under $25.

Face mask pack

Not everyone has a big budget, especially in February, to put towards the treat yourself. If that’s the case for you, I recommend going with something small but effective and for me, that happens to be a face mask. You can get the Freeman 12-pack for under $20 and it will provide relaxation for more than one night! Put one of these on, run yourself a bath and watch an episode on your favourite TV show.

Eyeshadow palette

Looking for a beauty related treat yourself gift this February? An eyeshadow palette can be the perfect gift for you and the one I love right now is the Smoke Balm palette by The Balm. Palettes are a great choice because they can help you put together a whole new collection of looks. It’s like a two for one deal, or a three for one deal… or a many for one deal.

Invisibobble hair ties

You don’t have to spend a ton of money to treat yourself, nor do you have to get completely practical or exuberant objects. No, you can get something practical and small, the point is that you get it for yourself. If you have long hair, especially if it’s curly, the Invisibobble is the best hairband you can get yourself. It holds up your hair firmly without getting all tangled.

Native deodorant

I did myself a HUGE favour at the end of 2019 and switched to a natural deodorant. I had this nasty rash under my armpit and a growing bump… three weeks later and voila, it’s all gone. Seriously, Native deodorant might be $12 but it’s definitely worth it and I would highly recommend it.

Treat Yourself for Under $50

Causebox subscription

Causebox is my absolute favourite subscription box because it sends me natural products that I’ve never had a chance to try yet. A ton of my everyday products have come from the Causebox and the best thing is that you can get it for under $50. If you’re ready to sign up, use my link and get $10 off your first box!

2020 weekly planner

I love a good ol’ fashioned planner and Ban.do makes some of my absolute favourite ones. I really love the big plans planner for 2020, which has not only weekly, monthly and daily spaces, but also stickers! One of these planners will help you keep on top of your life in the coming year.

Pop Fit Leggings

For those fashion-forward ladies that love combining comfort with style, my treat yourself pick for February would be the Pop Fit Lily leggings. These bad boys have cute pockets, mesh patches at the bottom of the leg and a non-slip top making it perfect for the plus-size woman. These are great if you’re looking for a flexible pant that can be thrown on and worn on the go.

Candle making kit

This is probably me projecting, but I love the idea of starting the new year off with a fun new project like candle making. If you’re looking to try something new in 2020, then perhaps your best treat yourself gift for February is a DIY Candle Making Kit. This DIY kit has enough product for you to make three natural soy candles.

FabFitFun Box Subscription

While Causbox might be my favourite subscription, FabFitFun has more mainstream products and generally comes with more products—up to 8 full-size products. FabFitFun has also added a ton of amazing products to my everyday roster, from Ahava Water Hand Cream, Ouai Leave-in Conditioner and the Pink Makeup Eraser. It’s definitely one of my favourite quarterly treat yourself experiences. Ready to sign up for FabFitFun? Use my link and the code SANTABABY for $10 off your first box.

Treat Yourself for Under $100

Hidrate Spark water bottle

One of my favourite treat yourself purchases in 2019 was the Hidrate Spark 2.0, which has been the reason that I’ve had SO MUCH MORE water intake which has made me feel amazing. The Hidrate hooks into your phone with their app and records all of the water you intake, plus it has a built-in reminder system that flashes to remind you to drink more water. If you’re looking for a great gift for yourself that will help you live a better 2020, then this is it!

Instax Mini 8

The Instax Mini 8 is the perfect treat yourself gift for the photographer in all of us. This bad boy is modelled off of the old polaroid cameras and prints out your images right then and there. While it can be a tad bit pricey for the film, just make sure you’re using it for things that really matter—save the nature shots for your iPhone.

Cute pair of sneakers

If you’re looking for something fashion-forward for your treat yourself gift for February, then I would highly recommend checking out the Superga Women’s Elisa Ochoa sneaker. These bad boys come in at under $100 and up to size 10. While you’ll want to stash these away until the snow is gone, they’ll be adorable for a late spring or summer outfit.

Cast Iron Dutch Oven

Calling all cooks, if you don’t have one of these Cast Iron dutch ovens dishes you probably should. They evenly distribute the heat and can be put both on the stove and in the oven. Whether you need to marinate, cook or store your food, this is the perfect treat yourself cookware.

Amazon Prime Membership

If you want to start 2020 with a bang, an Amazon Prime membership can be a lifesaver if you’re looking to save money and shop with ease. I LOVE my Prime membership and would highly recommend it. And not only do you get fast shipping with Prime but you also get Amazon Prime Video… If you want a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, use our link!

Treat Yourself for Over $100

Apple Airpods Pro

Apple Airpods Pro are currently at the top of my treat yourself list. I both work at home and have a roommate so a pair of these bad boys will go a long way to helping me really zone in on my work. Not only are these wireless earbuds, but their new and improved design includes being noise-cancelling. Hello, my dream earbuds!

FitBit smartwatch

The FitBit Charge 3 was one of my best 2019 purchases. I used to use cheap FitBit knock-offs, and as it turns out they just didn’t work. I wasn’t sure if this was a needed purchase, but I’ve used this bad boy every single day since September 2019 when I got it, and I’ve loved every second of it. Not only does it help to track your steps, but it also tracks your sleep and combines with my Hidrate Spark to track my water.

Matt & Nat Handbag

Matt & Nat create some of the nicest, reasonably-priced vegan leather handbags, and the Dwell is no exception. This bucket-style bag has an adjustable push pin closure and a handy-dandy cross-body strap. It’s a great bag for you to cart around in a professional or casual setting.

Weighted blanket

A quilted weighted blanket is a great treat yourself gift, especially if you’re experiencing the new year anxiety of February and a low bank account (*cough* Christmas present budgeting *cough*). These handly little blankets have a weight to them that allows you to cuddle right in and truly relax. They’re a great self-love gift.

Espresso machine

While I’m not a coffee drinker myself, I can think of a number of individuals that would appreciate the Smeg Espresso Machine. When it comes to small kitchen appliances like an espresso machine, you want to look for elegant pieces that look good out on the counter since chances are that’s where it’ll hang out. Which is why I love Smeg products. The pastel appliance colours look amazing on any countertop!
